This Privacy Policy explains how Ganguly Consulting (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use Reminder (the “Service”), an appointment, reminder and live-queue platform for clinics, salons, spas and similar businesses. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, mobile number, email, and the organisation (clinic/business) details you provide.
- Business content — clinic profile, opening hours, services, providers, and the appointments you create.
- Your customers' data — names, mobile numbers and appointment details that you, as a business, enter so we can send reminders and run your queue.
- Usage & technical data — log data, device/browser information, and cookies needed to keep you signed in and to operate the Service.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Service: scheduling, sending reminders, and running the live queue.
- To process payments, manage your wallet balance, and prevent fraud.
- To support you, improve the Service, and keep it secure.
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
3. Messaging and third-party providers
To deliver messages and payments we share the minimum necessary data with trusted providers, including Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Cloud API), Google Firebase (login one-time passcodes), and Razorpay (payments). Their use of data is governed by their own policies. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and appropriate consent to message your customers, and for complying with WhatsApp Business and TRAI/DLT rules.
4. Your customers' data (our role)
For the customer contact details and appointments you upload, you are the data controller and we act as your processor. We use that data only to provide the Service to you — never to market our own products to your customers. You are responsible for collecting valid consent from your customers.
5. Cookies and sessions
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to verify one-time codes. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
6. Data retention
We keep account and business data while your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account; some records may be retained where the law requires.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and access controls. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
8. Your rights

9. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 18.
